Port City Colombo came alive with music and joy on the enchanting evening of December 11 as the De Lanerolle Brothers joined forces with the National Unity Orchestra for a captivating performance.
Exclusive invitees were treated to an unforgettable showcase, designed to immerse them in the festive spirit. The National Unity Orchestra serenaded the audience with a delightful repertoire of holiday classics, setting the stage for a season of renewed hope.
Following the orchestra's heartwarming performance, the musical festivities reached their peak with sensational retro tunes brought to life by both the DLB Band and the De Lanerolle Brothers. The retro set, featuring the irresistible beats of the 60s and 70s, transported guests back in time, evoking nostalgia and creating an electric atmosphere.
Organized by the Colombo Port City Economic Commission in collaboration with CHEC Port City Colombo Ltd, and supported by Daily FT and ITN, the event featured Tourism, Lands, Sports, and Youth Affairs Minister Harin Fernando as the Chief Guest and State Minister of Defence Premitha Bandara Tennakoon as the Guest of Honour. The collaboration of musical talents and the festive ambiance made this event a memorable celebration of joy and harmony at Port City Colombo.
